On Arches paper Our artwork is an early lithographic print of a poster produced for the exhibition “Les peintres témoins de leur temps” at the Musée Galliera, held from January 18 to February 17, 1969. Buffet was an eminently figurative artist at a time when abstraction reigned supreme. This representation of the technological advances of his time reflects his involvement in and influence on modern art.
