Samuelson’s drawings and paintings often include nudes. His nudes are reminiscent of classical studies and drawings, both in their muted colors and graceful poise, and still they evoke a feeling of chaos as they are often densely layered and broken up in shards of body parts. Samuelson teaches courses in Advanced Drawing and Painting in the Certificate/BFA/Post-Bac/MFA programs. He is also a Critic in the Certificate/BFA and MFA programs.
