A framed mid-century print of the famous portrait of popular matador Antonio Fuentes made by Ricard Canals (1876-1931) in 1913. The original painting is now part of the Museum Nacional d’Art de Catalunya collection. The canvas is framed in a wooden, gilded frame which enhances the portrait of the dapper matador. He is posing in a typical matador manner; shoulders pulled back and hand near hips. A well made mid-century copy of a portrait of a beloved bull fighter.
