An original 19th century Italian oil painting "La Chioccia" by listed artist Roberto Raimondi. Known primarily as a master watercolor artist, Raimondi studied under Guiseppe Signorini. Signed R. Raimondi, Roma in the lower left corner. The backside of the painting is signed by the artist and titled "La Chioccia", translated Mother Hen. This stunning piece was executed with visible brushstrokes and a very painterly style. Excellent condition and newly framed. Measurements listed include the frame.
