The effects of time and the elements are the subject of “Cali-Texture No. 1281 - Rock Layers" (2018), which pictures stone formations, sand, and the water that eventually turns one into the other. Detail and soft focus are juxtaposed, adding an uncommon depth to the shot. The image is printed on heavyweight cotton-rag archival paper using museum-grade archival inks. Each arrives signed, numbered, and ready to hang, in a white maple corner-splined frame complete with spacers, strainer, and French cleat. The 54" x 72" is an edition of 7, the 40" x 60" is an edition of 12, and the 30" x 40" is an edition of 24.
