Very fine pencil drawing realized by Carle Vickers (or Charles, pupil of Horace Vernet, 1821-1874) in the mid 19th Century, after Carle Vernel and Horace Vernet. Hand signed lower right. Very good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
