Part of the Carnevale di Mamoiada Collection, this photograph owes its name to the eponymous Sardinian carnival. It depicts the profile of a man walking dressed as a member of Mamuthones, masked characters walking down to a rhythmic pace for welcoming spring and backing evil spirits off.
