FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US! This is a steel engraving of a pair of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels after the painting by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (English, 1802-73). Titled 'The Cavalier's Pets'. Engraved by J. Outrim, c. 1860. Landseer is best known for his lion sculptures in Trafalgar Square and for his paintings of animals. Hand-colored and beautifully matted and framed. The engraving itself measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/4". It is displayed in a wood frame with a cherry or mahogany veneer. The frame measures 19 3/4" x 20 3/4". Under glass. In very good overall condition with some light chipping to edges of the frame.
