The Rest on the Flight into Egypt is an engraving on ivory-colored paper realized after Rembrandt by Charles Amand Durand (1831-1905) after an etching by Rembrandt. This wonderful piece of art belongs to a late edition of the 19th century. Signed on the plate, after Rembrandt Good conditions. Superb etching through deft strokes, strong mastery in expression through an impression of virtuous old master's touch.
