"Childhood Memories" is my interpretation of those moments—fragments of color, warmth, wonder, and imagination that remain with us throughout our lives. Although the painting suggests floral forms, it is not intended to represent a specific bouquet or garden. Instead, it explores the way memories bloom within us, becoming more about feeling than about literal images. Rich layers of luminous greens, deep reds, violets, golds, and warm earth tones create an atmosphere that is both vibrant and comforting, inviting each viewer to discover a personal connection. My creative process is entirely intuitive. I rarely know what the finished painting will become when I begin. Instead, I allow each brushstroke to respond naturally to the previous one, following the movement of color and emotion rather than a predetermined plan. Over the years I have come to feel that I serve less as the creator and more as a listener, allowing each painting to reveal itself gradually. Years ago, while I owned my own gallery, a woman entered and immediately connected with one of my floral abstract paintings. She shared that her spiritual teacher had described the exact colors and flowing forms she needed in her home. Unable to purchase it immediately, she faithfully returned every week, making small payments until it became hers. After she finally took the painting home, I never saw her again, but I have never forgotten how deeply art can resonate with someone's life. Experiences like that continue to inspire my work today. This original oil painting has been exhibited over the years and carefully transported between several exhibition venues while remaining in excellent original condition. I personally stretched the canvas and prepared the support before creating the painting using professional oil paints. Every stage of its creation was completed entirely by hand in my studio. One of the most captivating qualities of this painting is the way it changes with light. Throughout the day, different lighting conditions reveal new layers of color, depth, and movement. Although every effort has been made to photograph the artwork accurately, the original possesses far greater richness, luminosity, and subtle color variations than photographs can fully capture. An accent light above or below the painting beautifully enhances its expressive character. The handcrafted exhibition frame was created specifically for gallery display. Collectors may choose to frame the painting differently to complement their own interiors, although it possesses a strong presence that also allows it to stand beautifully on its own.
