Lithograph, 2006 Edition : 47/99 Publisher : Jacque Boulan (Paris) Printer : Atelier à Fleur de Pierre (Paris) 41.00 cm. x 30.50 cm. 16.14 in. x 12.01 in. (paper) 41.00 cm. x 30.50 cm. 16.14 in. x 12.01 in. (image) Handsigned by the artist in pencil Certificate of authenticity This plate from Saison bleue vibrates with untamed energy, like a gust of wind blowing through a landscape in full metamorphosis. There are no fixed shapes here, just perpetual movement, a chaos of colors that collide and respond to each other. Deep blue, incandescent red, bursts of yellow and green emerge from the shadows, swirling, colliding and merging. with Chu Teh-Chun, tumult is never disorderly. As in his storm-inspired canvases, he captures the tipping point, that fragile moment when equilibrium is disturbed, when matter rises before falling again. Here, color is alive and carnal, swirling across the paper like the wind on a stormy sea. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
