Female nude, full torso, back view, in muted tones, the original painting was done in approximately the mid 1940’s when Tony was studying at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia ({AFA). For sale is a giclee of the original oil painting. The contrast of light and dark has a chiaroscuro feel. Undated, unsigned. This painting and the others listed separately were from a life drawing/painting class. I found them in a portfolio of many drawiings and paintings from Tony's years at PAFA.
