Maine's Bass Harbor Head Light overlooks the entrance to Bass Harbor, marking the rocky point to help mariners safely navigate the area's waters. The 32-foot-tall lighthouse was built in 1858, complete with a tender's house. It is one of the many wonders found at Acadia National Park.
