Original antique chromolithograph Dog print from an early 1900s guide to Dogs and Game published by a French manufacturer of hunting gear and bicycles. Shown is the Clumber Spaniel. The print is based on a work by Paul Mahler (1864–1923), French painter and illustrator, known for his detailed animal and hunting scenes. The print measures 10 x 7 inches. It is in excellent condition, not a reproduction. Print is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert for additional protection. Includes a certificate with additional information about this series, and original accompanying text page describing this breed.
