Summer's ending and the light's changing. There's a kind of desperation in the air to get more out of these summer days before fall and winter arrive. Sense of time is lost when deep in the middle of painting. Hoping that carries over when viewing the work at home. This is professional grade acrylic paint on a 1.5" thick stretched canvas. It measures 16" high by 40" wide, and is framed in thin wood lattice strips which add about a half an inch in width and height, wired and ready to hang. About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. He is president of a local 200 member artist organization. Steve's paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad.
