She works in oils and oil paintsticks onsite, "en plein air" creating spontaneous and expressive works. Graduated from University of Virginia. Studied art for 25 years at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Studio School, Nimrod Hall Art Workshops, and under the instruction of artist Curney Nuffer. She has exhibited at Artspace Gallery, the Studio School at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, CrossRoads Gallery, Zeus Gallery, and numerous other shows in Richmond, and has won numerous awards. Her work is held in many private and public collections across the U.S.
