I am starting a new collection of small plein air cloud studies. I have always loved the abstract nature of clouds and often focus on the sky when I paint my landscape paintings. These are loose, spontaneous oil paintings done on small canvas panels out in nature. After the oils dry the painting is varnished for protection. The frame for this piece is a heavy wood ornate gold leaf vintage frame with a lot of patina from age. The overall size of the piece is 15"x15" with the inner painting at 8"x8". Signed on the back, ready to hang. This would be a nice size for a gallery wall or tucked in a bookshelf. Original painting by Suzanne Nicoll.
