This earthy pink / mauve and dark purple color field artwork painted in 2024 features light textural variances and layers of varying translucency in circular patterns surrounding a stain washed dark center. The painting is stretched on 1.5" deep stretcher bars with unpainted sides (suitable for framing) that evidence occasional drips and marks from the painting process. The painting is signed on back and ships ready to hang with a simple nail or screw. The unifying character of all my artworks across all collections is an experiential exploration of color, luminosity/light, and juxtapositions. My colorfield artworks reflect my purest, unencumbered celebration of the color experience, especially in the ways materiality impacts the color experience. These artworks are always mixed media and best experienced in person. About the artist...
