Watercolour on ivory colored paper, 1820 c.a. Hand-titled ''Costume di Sorrento'', with autograph caption black ink ''Provincia di Napoli'' on lower margin at the center. Representing a woman in typical costumes of Sorrento. Good conditions, except a visible rip on the loer-right corner, some stains on the left corner, a sign of scotch on higher margin and a usual burnished paper on lower margin\. Very beautiful and good quality watercolour both for the drawing and for the fineness of the colours. Michela De Vito In the XIX century, Michela De Vito native of Abruzzi, worked in Naples and became a famous artist.
