Original pastel drawing for "Dancing Parisian Existentialists", a series of prints published by Sidney Z. Lucas in 1957.  Signed "Alcarez 53" lower right.  Original artwork for any series of prints is quite rare and we were fortunate to obtain this drawing directly from the now closed Phyllis Lucas Gallery, publishers of the print.  Mint condition with strong colors and no wear.  Handle with care as the pastel pigment easily rubs off.  Drawn on heavy paper.  Sheet size: 11 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches.  Sold with the print made from this drawing.
