Small black text above and below reads 'If you don't like tomatoes' / 'you can fuck off' David Shrigley, born in Macclesfield in 1968, is a British artist based in Brighton. Having graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 1991, Shrigley has since gained international recognition for his distinctive drawings, sculptures, and text-based works. Known for his dark humour and deliberately crude style, Shrigley explores the absurdities of everyday life with wit and sharp social commentary. A 2013 Turner Prize nominee, his work has been exhibited globally.
