They’re California artist Dorothy Cutter’s signature motif, an approach she may have embraced during her studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art, the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design, American University and the California College of the Arts. Lately, the Morro Bay-based artist has turned her eye to undersea photography…a subject area likewise abundant with unexpected coloration and repeating patterns.
