Drew Doggett, Sanctuary

This work is part of Doggett’s "Dunes: Landscapes Evolving" collection. Immense and majestic, the sand dunes of Namibia’s Sossusvlei desert are the largest in the world. Their huge expanses at times resemble a sea, abstract human forms, or even modern architecture. Doggett captured the grand shapes, endless lines, and subtle tonal gradients of this simple yet beautiful environment by both land and air to create these calming and dramatic images.
