Dutch painting oil on artist board depicts cargo ship in port of Rotterdam on a gilt frame. Signed lower left Evert Moll (Dutch, 1878-1955) was a self-taught Dutch marine artist, influenced by the Hague School, and a member of the Pulchri Studio. Typical characteristics of Moll's work include broken brushwork and the use of pure colors. Moll's work is difficult to date, as his style changed little.
