Fine large antique Japanese monochrome watercolor scroll painting depicting Red-Crowned Crane. Signed and sealed by artist in ink. Masterfully painted. Watercolor and ink on paper. Beautifully mounted on silk, paper on back. Bone-like roller. Japan, Meiji to early Showa Era, circa 1900-1920s. Very Good to Good condition for age - some are wear, creases caused by the painting being rolled, that can be smoothed by dry hot ironing on the back and front before hanging or framing, clean goldenrod color silk border, water stains on the top of the silk mount.
