"Embrace" is a large abstract impressionism painting by New York artist, Christine Frisbee. Her paintings are in many collections around the country. This painting combines lavender with turquoise and soft blues to create a balance and eye interest to the viewer. She is known for her abstract work and has been juried into many shows including those of The National Association of Women Artists, The Art Students League and the Cahoon Museum of American Art. She is presently influenced by Helen Frankenthaler for her interesting compositions, Rothko, for his outstanding use of color and de Kooning for his complex compositions. Her work is in private collections around the country.
