This acrylic on canvas painting #1 in a series of 12 created in late 2021. The depth of this painting through its color field gives movement and depth to each part of the canvas. The slight impasto over a thinner and saturated layer of multiple naturally occurring colors presents the chance to see from within and discover the layers from a different vantage point. All of the paintings in the series were created using sponges, rollers, and palette knife.
