An outstanding member of the "new new" group founded by renato barilli in the early '80s, edwards participated in numerous exhibitions in the most important italian and foreign museums. To this period belong the large canvases with bold spill from the surface of the canvas, which emphasize the objective of the paint job as an experience with which to compare. The next period is marked by an abstract expressionism made of lighted brightness and increasingly large backgrounds.
