Eric Jeandupeux, Aïre La Ville, Oil On Canvas

Chairish

$640

Oil on canvas sold with frame Total size with frame 36x40 cm Born in Vernier near Geneva in 1928, Eric Jeandupeux had a low voice and high words. with his strong character, he plunged into life and into discussions, taking on great challenges. Lifting mountains, he did it throughout his career. Cut out for sales, in 1965 he bought the Bercher management company and developed unique partnerships between advertisers and places like Genève Aéroport, Palexpo or Balexert. It innovates with aesthetic supports in the field of display. In 1991 he sold his company while remaining president for several years. Generous, always curious and turned towards others, he decided to devote himself to his painting and to take advantage of each exhibition to associate himself with a great cause by donating all the profits to a work. Whether for the Corolle in 1997 (homes and workshops for adults with mental disabilities) or for the Gemperlé foundation (aid scholarship for polytechnic students) on several occasions and the Main Tendue. Passionate about art, chess, and curling, Jeandupeux was involved in several associations and led a very active life until the end of his life. Eric died at age 90 in September 2018. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
