Born in 1981, Ewa Kuryluk is a Polish artist. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Wroclaw. Her work oscillates between animal and vegetable symbolism based on stylized representations or portraits of silhouettes. These motifs, in different scales, are superimposed on gardens and landscapes. The biblical references are abundant and recall the illustrations of medieval bestiaries. Ewa Kuryluk has participated in numerous international exhibitions ( Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Bulgaria, Denmark, Egypt and China). She won a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and received the prize at the first international poster exhibition in Guangzhou (China) and at the VIII Biennale of Graphic by Josep de Ribera (Spain).
