Well known California artist Robert R. Bradshaw (American, 1930-2021) painted this 38” X 38” abstract expressionist painting on artists paper with acrylic paint, ink, Prismacolor and pencil, then titled it “Joie de Vivre” which in French means; (“The Pleasure of Living”). Bradshaw signed it in the front and it was painted in 2001. Frankly, a better title could be “2 Women in the Desert Sun”. But either way, it’s a wonderful work of art that has been handsomely framed in a gold and silver wood molding under Plexi-glass. Bradshaw was a full time artist who successfully had several one person art exhibitions and his art was featured in several public showings in the Palm Springs, California area. Regardless, if you happen to be a collector of Bradshaw’s artwork, or just a person who appreciates fine art, you’ll enjoy this painting hanging in your home or office.
