Vintage Expressionist seascape depicting bright, abstracted rays of sunlight pouring over waves. Circa 1960 by New Jersey-based artist Zelda Burdick (1911-1997). Pastel on paper, signed lower-right corner. Presented in the original giltwood frame with linen matting. Zelda studied art in New York at the Pratt Institute in New York City, the National Academy of Art and Design, the Brooklyn Museum, the Greenwich House, and the New School.
