Nudes was one of the classic academic themes and a constant in Casorati artworks. The attention to the human body, often depicted in its nudity, represents one of the most analyzed motifs by the Italian artist throughout his creative life. ''The nude of a woman becomes an almost obsessive and repeated presence within her work; it is the symbol of a rational search.
