Our 'First Frost / Final Bloom' project began as a 32-page zine featuring 21 photographs made on a walk among frozen dahlias during the first frost of the fall at a micro flower farm in the Berkshires, MA. This set of fine art photography prints presents a collection of four of the most complementary images in the collection – a quartet of botanical photographs that capture the tragic beauty of the dahlias in their final moments.
