This painting on wood has several layers of application and removal. There are textures and lines that emerge from the layers that present a more complex surface. The image is of a flower, removed from its pot - or its moorings. Alternatively, it also looks like the masses are protesting, the flower shifting to a hand held sign. I can't help but believe this is an unconscious statement of our times. This painting is framed.
