This 24" square abstract painting is made up of botanical elements in the drawing and painting of the piece. It was made by layering both thick and thin washes of acrylic over drawings and drawing back into the painting. I used other mark making tools like crayons and colored pencil along with graphite. I call it "Flower Power". It is striking in its bold design and texture but also has quiet moments too. It comes ready to hang with the sides of the canvas painted black.
