I finished painting this oil painting in 2024. I bought a bouquet of flowers and painted a still life painting in oil. The colors are as close to the real flowers as possible. I used gold leaf for the table that the vase of flowers stands on. I've been oil painting for about 3 years now. Before that it was a year in acrylic. And before that my Native American auntie taught me how to sketch in 1994. I've been painting still life bouquets of flowers for about 2 years now. It seems like my paintings get more magnificent each new painting. I tried to do the background an antique yellow. I love working with antique colors. This painting was framed after it dried. The frame is grey replica bamboo. The canvas that I used is 30 by 24 by 1/2 an inch. The painting whole, including the frame, is 32 by 26 by 1 and 1/5 an inch. For the white accent flowers, I used a pallet knife. And for the rest of the painting I used paintbrushes.
