Four large 18th century wood engravings titled “Fire,” “Morning,” “Manhood or the Spiritual Conversation,” (which alludes to the conversationalist’s ability to be attentive to more than the words expressed,) and “The Fountain of Youth - Old Age Where the Elderly Man Becomes Young Again.” These are likely 4 prints out of a series. These 4 prints are in fair original condition with wear consistent with age and use. These 18th century prints have undergone early paper conservation, and the repairs are obvious. There is also toning. The repairs do not diminish the design of the engraving. Dimensions: 24.5” width, 34” height
