A painting of a farm nestled in a lush landscape in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The painting is dated 7/48 on the back of the canvas. It looks like an oil painting, and it does have a varnished surface. It is not signed by the artist, Tony Trezza. Based on the year, Tony would have been studying at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. I recall him telling me that he and a few friends would frequently drive from Philadelphia out to the country to paint. The painting is in original matte and frame. The inner lining of the double matte does show signs of discoloration and age. The frame has a rustic textured look with some imperfections. See circled areas as an example. This is one of two paintings with a similar subject matter. I will be listing the other painting also.
