Framed acrylic on canvas. The painting features layered color in a variety of sheens with textured areas. The piece is framed by the artist in an unfinished reclaimed wood frame. Artist Bio: My work is an attempt at uninhibited creation. The process through each piece presents the space and time for contemplation and reflection and exposes resistance and barriers, visually, and psychologically. These paintings are my attempt to explore the unconscious through color and form. I was born in New Mexico and grew up in the Seattle area. I studied art and design in college while collecting, researching, buying, and selling vintage art, home decor, and furniture. Currently I live in Burien, WA and operate an online shop with my wife, Talley. These paintings were done from 2016 to the present. Some of them were painted in Oakland, CA, and others in Seattle and Burien, WA. The mediums used include but are not limited to acrylic paint, oil paint, pencil, pastel, printed found materials
