We fell in love with this simple portrait of a horse at pasture which came from an estate in southern Virginia. We really have no idea how to date the picture, but we believe that it may be late 20th Century. It is a marvelous rendition of a beautiful, chestnut brown steed placidly grazing. The painting measures 24 inches wide by 20¼ inches tall. It is signed "Sulzman" as shown in the pictures. It is framed in a simple black wood frame.
