This Franco Gentilin rare vintage 1965 Mid Century Modern limited edition lithograph print " Nudo Con Ventaglio " 1961, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. Franco Gentilini ( 1909 - 1981 ) the Italian born Modernist ceramicist and painter's artworks were included in numerous editions of the Venice Biennale beginning in 1930. In 1960 The Museum of Modern Art New York exhibited the work of Gentilini. Art works by Gentilini are included in the the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums. The rare out of print lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists portfolio printed in Italy in 195 in an unnumbered limited edition, titled " Immagini Di Arte Italiana Gentilini ". The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with a method called tipping where it is attached by hand to the page on 2 corners. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image. The lithograph print plate measures 7 3/4" W X 9 3/4" H, on a page that is 11" W X 14 3/4" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It has never been framed. The print plate image is in very clean vintage condition, there is some light signs of handling to the page backing. Please see photos for condition reference.
