1930s or 1940s German expressionist painting. This powerfully colorful painting is a mystery as I cannot find a signature. It measures 7“ x 7“ and is an oil on masonite board. The frame measures 12 1/2“ x 12 1/2“. I am dating it based on the reverse where it is marked Germany and not made in Germany.
