Piazza della Minerva - Rome is an original artwork realized in the 1970s by Giuseppe Malandrino. Original hand-colored etching print. Image Dimensions: 16.5 x 12 / 20 x 15 cm. Hand-signed by the artist in pencil on the lower right corner. Numbered on the lower left corner. Edition 76/99. Good conditions. Includes a passepartout: 49 x 34 cm. This artwork represents the beautiful Minerva Square and its amazing monument. Giuseppe Malandrino (Modica, 1910 - Rome, 1979) was a portrait painter, landscape painter, all-round artist, who became interested, during his Roman stay in his youth, also in photography and cinema. After leaving his native village, he moved to Rome where he attended Giacomo Balla's studio and began a series of exhibitions that made him well-known throughout the world. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
