This is a new painting and part of my 'grasses' series. I have been interested in the complexity of line this year having shifted from painting and drawing flowers in 2022. My goal was to add mystery and movement in a blaze of color. I want the painting to give the viewer a sense of peace and serenity. There are images of flowers in the background as part of the layering process. The materials are acrylic, oil stick, oil paint and oil pastel. This piece is currently unframed.
