Oil and acrylic on canvas and jute. Hammam is the Turkish bath, where female bodies lie and relax amidst hot and purifying vapors. Two women, one seated on the ground showing her back, the other leaning against the wall, both hiding their faces. Absorbed in their thoughts, strange figures come to life in transparency and interact with their bodies. They multiply and change. Showing a dualism between being and appearing, body and spirit, reason and irrationality.
