Revenge of the Mountain Man is the fourth book in William W. Johnstone's. Published by Zebra Press, 1988. The Last Mountain Man series, featuring protagonist Smoke Jensen. The plot centers on Jensen's quest for vengeance after outlaws attack his Colorado ranch, shooting his wife, Sally, while he is away buying cattle. The book follows Jensen as he hunts down the criminals who intended to kill him, leading to a violent and action-packed story of revenge. Harry Schaare was a prolific artist for hard and softcover books.  He designed covers for Zebra Publishing, Harper Collins, Kensington Publishing Co.,  Jove, and others.  He also did magazine work for Saturday Evening Post, Boy's Life, Sports Illustrated, and various men's adventure magazines.
