Commemoration Of Leopardi is a wonderful black and white lithograph onpaper, realized in the late 19 century by the French artist Henri Fantin-Latour (Grenoble, 1836 - Buré, 1906). Signed on plate on the lower margin. In good conditions, with slight foxing. The artwork represents an angel on tomb putting commemoration flowers beautifully through deft strokes and application of white and black in negative and positive of the plate by mastery. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
