The painting is signed “Hilson” to the lower right corner and titled “Homage to Black Hawk” on the bottom. Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-2000. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, and more. His studios could be found in New York, Los Angeles, and Aspen.
