A pair of vibrant interior paintings by artist Roderick Coles housed in shimmering water gilt Italian Borghese frames. The works on wood panels are titled "Tempus Oblivisco (Magenta Room)", and are part of an ongoing series of fantasy , make believe rooms and halls that the artist would construct and design were he a working interior designer. It's a fun yet traditional leaning take on the art of collecting and curating a beautiful and timeless room. The devil is in the details within the mixed medium works ; a tattered well played canary yellow drumset gathers dust and cobwebs far off in the salon. A period Regence commode can almost see and speak with it's emotional face like drawer pulls, and it's seen quite a lot in its 300 year journey !
